WIND BREAKER Live-Action Film Adaptation Announced

Following the broadcast of the WIND BREAKER anime's second season finale, a new website and X (formerly Twitter) account opened to reveal that a live-action film adaptation of Satoru Nii's delinquent action manga will release in Japanese theaters this December. The below visual and video were also released with the announcement. Kentaro Hagiwawa ( Blue Period ) directs the new adaptation and Yosuke Masaike ( Anime Supremacy! ) provides the script, while Yoshitaka Kamo serves as producer. Cast members were not confirmed at the time of reporting. WIND BREAKER Live-Action Film Reveal WIND BREAKER Live-Action Film 'First Look' RELATED: WIND BREAKER Stage Play Adaptation Announced Toshifumi Akai ( Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia ) directed both seasons of the WIND BREAKER anime at studio CloverWorks, with series composition by Hiroshi Seko ( Chainsaw Man ), character designs by Taishi Kawakami and music by Ryo Takahashi ( SK8 the Infinity ). Crunchyroll streams the series in a range of subs and dubs, describing the story like so: Welcome to Furin High School, an institution infamous for its population of brawny brutes who solve every conflict with a show of strength. Some of the students even formed a group, Bofurin, which protects the town.
