More Body Horror Revealed in ‘Cronos: The New Dawn’ Gameplay Showcase [Watch]

To go along with the new release window (and the Silent Hill remake announcement), Bloober Team has released a new gameplay showcase video for Cronos: The New Dawn. Much like what was seen in last week’s gameplay trailer, the new footage immerses viewers in Cronos‘ post-apocalyptic world, highlighting the game’s brutal combat and the grotesque “Merge” mechanic used by the horrifying creatures known as Orphans to absorb the bodies of their fallen brethren, evolving into more violent and deformed variants if not burned immediately.

Cronos: The New Dawn is set in two eras: the decaying future and 1980s Poland. Players are plunged into a world inspired by the real Krakow district – Nowa Huta, where survival means bending time itself. You play as a Traveler, an agent of the mysterious Collective, emerging from a dystopian future to dive back into time and extract people before they perish in the apocalypse. As you explore a world on the brink of annihilation, you’ll encounter grotesque enemies known as the Orphans.

Look for Cronos: The New Dawn when it launches fall 2025 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series.
