World Expo 2025, which has been held in Osaka, Japan, will host a large-scale anime food-themed event, titled "Anime x Food Fes THE ENNICHI," for seven days from July 2 to July 8, 2025. Visitors can enjoy food and beverages inspired by the world of anime and popular characters at 21 stalls produced by 16 companies in the Expo Messe "WASSE," a venue inside the Expo. The concept of the event is "Ennichi" ( Festival or a day that you connect with Gods and Buddha ), which also means a chance to connect "anime" and "food" with Japan and the rest of the world, as well as a chance to meet users in Japan and abroad. The venue is decorated just like an actual Ennichi, and the enchanting dishes inspired by popular anime works are reproduced as original collaboration food by leading Japanese companies.
