The five-member dance and vocal unit MADKID will release their 11th CD single "Resolution" in Japan on August 20, 2025. As reported in April , the title track will be featured as the opening theme for the forthcoming fourth season of The Rising of the Shield Hero TV anime. MADKID was formed in 2014, and made their major debut in 2018. They have performed all opening theme songs for T he Rising of the Shield Hero anime series since its first season in 2019. The theme songs by them have become a huge hit mainly overseas with over 32 million total views on YouTube. Since then, the group has been active globally, performing numerous anime theme songs and holding live shows in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Mexico, and other foreign countries. In addition to the original Japanese lyric version, the CD single also includes the English lyric version of "Resolution" and "MAZE” with lyrics and music by Koji Ide, known for his works for Johnny & Associates' boy idol groups, such as SMAP, Kinki Kids, and A.B.C-Z.
