The official website for the upcoming summer 2025 TV anime Nyaight of the Living Cat! has posted a two-minute prologue footage of the first episode. The clip depicts the main character, Kunagi and his companions desperately running away from cats in a world where touching a cat turns a human into a cat. There is also a moment when one of his mates, who falls while running away, turns from human to cat… RELATED: Nyaight of the Living Cat Anime Unleashes New Trailer, Visual, Cast and Theme Song News The TV anime adaptation of the comedy horror manga Nyaight of the Living Cat created by Hawkman (story) and Mecha-Roots (arts) is set to premiere in Japan on July 7, 2025. Takashi Miike is executive director and Tomohiro Kamitani is director of the TV anime at animation studio OLM. Shingo Irie provides the series composition, Takao Maki provides the character designs, and Koji Endo provides the music. Crunchyroll will simulcast the anime for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS. The synopsis reads: Run!
