Voice actor Kisho Taniyama (Tatsuya Himuro in Kuroko's Basketball , Chuya Nakahara in Bungo Stray Dogs ) will release a new photo book to celebrate his 50th birthday from Japanese publisher Tokyo News Tsushinsha on August 8, 2025. Taniyama was born on August 11, 1975, and will turn 50 three days after the release of the book. He is also known as the vocalist KISHOW of Japanese rock unit GRANRODEO and this book will be his second photo book following "KROSS OVER" shot by world-renowned photographer Leslie Kee in 2023. The concept of the photo shoot was "Past, Present, and Future," representing Taniyama's 50 years of progress. At school, Taniyama, who used to be a member of the track team, is active on the ground for the first time in a long time, and at a Japanese inn, he works on his writing like a literary master. After moving to Tokyo, he is seen frolicking in a game arcade as if reminiscing about his youth in the Heisei era, and sexy shots are taken at a luxury hotel. In the future part, he is seen in sweet situations that will make fans drool, such as his face when he wakes up and and cooking for his future partner. He says in his hand-writing message below: "As I approach my 50th year of age, I am now forced to publish another photo book, shamelessly. I shouldn't do that, but the decision has already been made, so there is nothing I can do. Please take a look at it anyway. I might be able to give some courage to some people as a star of middle-aged people." Check out sample photos below.
