Soft-spoken rom-com Aharen-san wa Hakarenai welcomes another guest star in its latest episode. If you're a fan of the show, it's definitely someone you've heard before…but not as a voice actor! ACA-Ne, the artist behind the music project ZUTOMAYO , will appear in Episode 10. The episode sees Aharen becoming obsessed with musicals, adopting a more theatrical speaking style that spreads to the rest of the student body. In the upcoming episode, ACA-Ne gets a brief vocal cameo — talking about "tuna mayo sandwiches and our bread," according to the artist. Yasutaka Yamamoto ( Nekopara ) and Tomoe Makino ( Kotaro Lives Alone ) direct Aharen-san wa Hakarenai at studio Felix Film, with series composition by Takao Yoshioka ( Horimiya ), character designs by Yuko Yahiro ( Kaguya-sama: Love is War ) and music by Satoru Kosaki and MONACA ( Hitoribocchi no Marumaruseikatsu ) . The series is based on the manga by DENKI-GAI creator Asato Mizu. Crunchyroll currently streams the series and describes the story: Socially awkward Aharen-san has personal boundary issues, either getting too close or too far from her classmates. When fellow student Raido picks up an eraser she drops, Aharen-san decides they’re now best friends. Whether studying, playing the arcade, or just eating lunch—she’s along for the ride.
