The number one song in its overall song charts, "Billboard JAPAN Hot 100," was three-member pop rock band Mrs. GREEN APPLE 's ninth digital single song, "Lilac," which was featured as the opening theme for the first season of the TV anime Oblivion Battery . Obviously, the song also topped the "Hot Animation" charts for theme songs for TV anime and movies and songs by anime voice actors. The song was released digitally on April 12, 2024, as their first anime theme song work in five years. The song has streamed over 270 million times, and its music video has been viewed over 159 million times to date. The song also won the Grand Prix of the 66th Japan Record Award.
