Late last year, we shared the news that Let's Go Karaoke! and Captivated, by You —two manga series by artist Yama Wayama—would be getting anime adaptations. Today, we have summer release dates for both! Let's Go Karaoke! is scheduled to premiere July 24 , with Captivated, by You following on August 21 . Both series will air on TOKYO MX and BS11. RELATED: Let's Go Karaoke! TV Anime Debuts in July Enterbrain publishes Let's Go Karaoke! in Japan under their Beam Comics imprint. Yen Press also publishes an English language version of the series. Asami Nakatani directs the TV anime at animation studio Doga Kobo. Yukiko Tsukahara acts as assistant director, Yoshimi Narita provides the series composition, Mai Matsuura provides the character designs and Takuro Ida provides the music. Yen Press describes the series: Nothing worries Satomi Oka more than the upcoming final choir competition of his middle school career — right up until he is accosted by a stranger from the shadows who demands, “Let’s go karaoke!” As a yakuza, Kyouji Narita doesn’t scare easily, but a terrifying prospect has driven him to seek Satomi’s help.
