The latest entry in the Crayon Shin-chan film series, Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Cho Karei! Shakunetsu no Kasukabe Dancers (“Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Super Gorgeous! Scorching Kasukabe Dancers”), released a new trailer today, as well as the official movie poster for the film's Japanese release. The new trailer also reveals that the band Saucy Dog will perform the theme song titled "Spice." The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan on August 8, 2025. Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Cho Karei! Masakazu Hashimoto directs the most recent entry at Shin-Ei Animation. Kimiko Ueno provides the script. TV Asahi, ADK Emotions and Futabasha act as producers and Toho distributes the film in Japan. The official website describes the story (translated from Japanese): In commemoration of Mushibai in India becoming a sister city of Kasukabe, the “Kasukabe Kids Entertainment Festival” is set to be held. If they win the dance competition, the winners will be invited to India and will also be able to dance on the local stage. Hearing this, Shinnosuke and the five members of the Kasukabe Defense Force join forces, win the dance competition, and depart for India. While enjoying sightseeing in India, Shinnosuke and Bo-chan enter a dubious general store, where they find and purchase a backpack that resembles the shape of a nose. However, the backpack has a very scary secret. Bo-chan accidentally sticks a piece of paper from the backpack into his nose, and an evil force leads him on a rampage as the “Bo-kun" (tyrant)!
