Saber Interactive Announces ‘World War Z VR’ for Meta Quest and SteamVR, Coming August 12 [Trailer]

Saber Interactive will be bringing its hit co-op multiplayer title World War Z to VR later this summer. Announced as a “totally-new, first-person, single-player experience,” World War Z VR will launch for Meta Quest and SteamVR on August 12. The title will reimagine the intense action of the original World War Z game to “create the most immersive VR zombie experience ever.”

Developed and published by Saber, World War Z VR is designed from the ground up to capture the series’ legendary scale and action for long-time fans and VR enthusiasts alike. Every gameplay
mechanic of the original World War Z has been fully reimagined for VR “to deliver a gripping sense of realism and excitement with each moment.” Players will take on hordes of undead across vast environments in three unique locations – New York, Tokyo and Marseille. You’ll also be able to tailor your challenge to suit your playstyle with a variety of characters, weapons, perks and difficulty settings.

World War Z VR is available to pre-order today on the Meta Store and Steam. All pre-orders come with the Golden Skin Pack, featuring four exclusive gold weapon skins. Steam users can also
pre-order a special bundle that includes both the new World War Z VR and the original World War Z featuring a 20% discount.
