BanG Dream! Mini Anime Ganso! Bandori-chan Premieres in October 2025

The official website for the girl band-themed multimedia franchise BanG Dream! announced on May 26 that a new mini-anime series titled Ganso! Bandori-chan will start streaming in October 2025. The site also revealed the anime's title logo and teaser visual featuring the five members of Poppin'Party. Teaser Visual The series will consist of 52 episodes. Kenshiro Morii and Seiya Miyajima are attached to co-direct. Morii served as the general director for the first season of the previous mini anime series BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico (3 seasons, 2018-2022), while Miyajima was the director and character designer of the series. RELATED: BanG Dream! Gets 52-Episode New Mini Anime in 2025 The news was also revealed at Poppin'Party's third concert at Nippon Budokan, titled "Poppin'Party 10th Anniversary LIVE ’Hoshi no Kodou’” on May 26. Check out photos from the sold-out concert. As the first main unit in the BanG Dream! franchise, Poppin'Party made their debut in May 2015. They are a fictional five-piece girl band that appears in the work, as well as an actual five-piece voice actor unit in the form of a band, featuring the voice actors who voice the characters. At the events and concerts, each character's voice actor actually plays the instruments played by the characters in the work. Poppin'Party has released 17 singles to date, including a weekly No.1 hit single, "Photograph" in January 2021.
