The world’s favorite high-school dragon is taking a little holiday as the RuriDragon manga announced on author Masaoki Shindo official X (formerly Twitter) account that the series will take a short break and will return in July. A concrete return date nor the details of the hiatus were announced at the time of reporting. The series began in Weekly Shonen Jump in June 2022 before moving to the magazine's digital version and the Shonen Jump+ digital platform in 2024 after a hiatus due to the author’s health . VIZ Media distributes the English-language version on the Shonen Jump app bi-weekly and through published volumes, and describes the series: Well, a half dragon.
