Another game based on The Quintessential Quintuplets is in the works at MAGES., but this one takes things in a particularly fantastic direction. The Quintessential Princesses: Fantasy, the Abyss and the Magic Academy is a dungeon RPG that’s on the way to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on September 18. True to its premise, this one puts the quintuplets in a fantasy setting, where they’ll fall under the tutelage of another student at the Magic Academy: an impoverished Futaro Uesugi. Players will need to serve as the private tutor to the sisters, helping out as they attempt to graduate from the academy. Features include a storyline set in the academy—complete with individual stories centered on each of the quintuplets—as well as stat-raising training sessions, dungeon exploration, quests and battles. Among those extras is a Blu-ray disc with the opening animation and a 10-minute original anime from Seven Arcs.
