SAND LAND Anime Gets New Visual for 1st TV Broadcast

First, the SAND LAND anime was released in theaters. Next, it got a streaming release. And finally, it’s getting a broadcast on Japanese TV! The adaptation of Akira Toriyama’s comedy manga series,  SAND LAND,  will premiere on June 28 on NHK General. A brand new visual was released showing Beelzebub in the air with Muniel to celebrate the release. The original anime film was directed by Toshihisa Yokoshima and Hiroshi Kojina at animation production houses Sunrise, Kamikaze Douga and ANIMA. The film was released in Japan on August 18, 2023. VIZ Media released the original manga in English, describing it as such: In the far future, war has destroyed the entire Earth, leaving only a barren wasteland where the supply of water is controlled by the greedy king. In search of a long-lost lake, Sheriff Rao asked the king of the demons for help…and got the king's son, Beelzebub, and his assistant, Thief. Together the unlikely trio sets off across the desert, facing dragons, bandits and the deadliest foe of all… the King's army itself!
