CITY THE ANIMATION is wrapping up its weekly Monday cast announcements with the reveal that Jun Fukuyama (Yuta Togashi in Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions ) will join the cast as Mont Blanc University Theater research society leader Nobuteru Tekaridake. Another cast announcement is set for the last day of April. Euphonium animation director) and art direction by Shiori Yamazaki. Instrumental band Piranhans provides the music. The series premieres on July 6. The series is based on the manga CITY by Keiichi Arawi. Kodansha publishes an English-language translation both by volume and on the K Manga app. Kyoto Animation describes the story as such: This town, is not just a normal town.
