Ahead of a July 6, 2025 broadcast, the official accounts for CITY THE ANIMATION today announced the casting of Makoto Kaneko (Kabashima in Tsurune ) as Rindo Obina, the captain of Minami High School's soccer club, and Atsushi Kosaka (Eiji in Scar on the Praeter ) as Yamato Kurogane, who was said to be a baseball genius in his junior high days.
