An official website and X account opened today revealed that a TV anime adaptation of Arata Shiraishi and Uodenim's From Overshadowed to Overpowered: Second Reincarnation of a Talentless Sage light novel series is in production for a planned July 2026 broadcast. The below visual (left), which uses the English title of The Failed Sage's Academy Domination , and a pair of commemorative illustrations were unveiled, along with main cast and staff details.
