Horror manga magazine Nemuki+ announced on its official X (formerly Twitter) account today that a short TV anime adaptation of Ichiko Ima's Hyakki Yakosho (translated as "Beyond Twilight") is in production for a planned April 2026 broadcast. A set of preview screencaps were also released. The series, which tells self-contained stories from a fantastical world of demons and spirits, has been serialized since 1995 and spans 31 compiled volumes.
