Sakamoto Days Live-Action Film Reveals The Order Member Cast Visuals

The official website for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Yuto Suzuki's Sakamoto Days manga series revealed the cast visuals of three members of The Order , the special operation unit directly under the Japanese Association of Assassins (JAA). The film is set to release in Japan on April 29, 2026 . Takumi Kitamura (Takemichi Hanagaki in the Tokyo Revengers live-action film series) plays Nagumo , who was Sakamoto's peer from his hitman days. He is always nonchalant yet highly skilled in combat and a master of disguise. Nagumo by Takumi Kitamura Comment from Takumi Kitamura: I'll be joining the film as the role of Nagumo. I think I am actor who has felt a great responsibility in bringing manga to live-action. Sakamoto Days is a manga I've read since its serialization began. I know just how popular Nagumo is—his comedic nature that hides his true depth, his eyes that seem dead yet aren't, and the fact that he's the strongest. It's incredibly difficult. Even so, they entrusted me with the role, so I gave it my absolute all. I did my very best. Thank you!! Yusei Yagi (dance and vocal group FANTASTICS vocalist) plays Shishiba , a cool, down-to-earth guy who speaks in a Kansai dialect. He is very considerate and often teams up with his junior, Osaragi, for missions. His weapon is a nail hammer. Shishiba played by Yusei Yagi Comment from Yusei Yagi: I am Yusei Yagi, and I will be playing the role of Shishiba. The original manga I've always loved is unexpectedly being adapted into a live-action film, and on top of that, I've been able to join the Team Fukuda, which I've admired since my student days. I felt so happy, yet at the same time, I was so shocked I wondered, "Is this a prank?" Shishiba speaks Kyoto dialect, uses a nail hammer as a weapon—he has so many points that personally resonate with me. Above all, he is a truly cool character. As my absolute favorite character from the original manga, I feel deeply honored to be able to live the role. Additionally, we worked tirelessly on action rehearsals to faithfully recreate the battle scenes—a major draw of the original manga—as much as possible. Through trial and error, we believe we've crafted something truly impressive, so please keep an eye out for this too! I immersed myself in the role of Shishiba-san and tackled the filming! I sincerely hope you all look forward to it. Meru Nukumi (Anna Scervino in My Hero Academia: You're Next ) plays Osaragi , a rookie member of The Order. She wears a black dress and has a gentle disposition, yet wields a massive electric saw, which is utterly mismatched to her appearance, as her weapon. She generally acts alongside Shishiba, though her overly laid-back remarks frequently draw his sarcastic retort. Osaragi played by Meru Nukumi Comment form Meru Nukumi: I was watching the original manga and anime, telling my manager, "SAKAMOTO DAYS is so interesting, you should watch it!" Then I got this offer, and I was really surprised…! I was truly delighted!! Osaragi's charm lies in the striking contrast between her usual demeanor when with Shishiba and others and her fierce fighting style wielding a chainsaw. I gave my all to carefully portray every aspect of his movements and speech to convey his character's appeal. I gave my all to carefully portray every aspect—from movements to speech patterns—to convey the character's charm. This film recreates the characters with such realism, it feels like they've leapt straight out of the manga and anime world. Especially Sakamoto-san, he's so realistically Sakamoto that it truly astonished me! I'm sure everyone will be instantly drawn into the world of "Sakamoto Days" upon seeing it. I'm looking forward to its completion too!! Additionally, the site posted a short clip introducing the three new cast members.
