The official website for Toho's talent support project GEMSTONE Creative Label released a trailer and key visual for Moshi, Korekara Umarerunonara (translated as "If you were to be born from now on"), the only anime short in the project's forthcoming second omnibus film, GEMNIBUS vol.2 . Moshi, Korekara Umarerunonara Trailer Key visual Comment from Director Asuka Dokai: I sometime wonder what will the life yet to be born think about, and in what of this world will it find meaning to live? If you live, you will lose something and get hurt. Even so, I believe that the colors of the world I feel in fleeting moments can be shared with those who live alongside me in the present. I hope you will feel anew the warm touch of "being alive right now." With that sentiment in mind, I made this film. GEMSTONE Creative Label is a project launched by young employees at Toho with the aim of providing a space for creators to freely express their talent, regardless of format, media or prior achievements. The first omnibus film GEMNIBUS vol.1 released in June 2025, featuring the tokusatsu short Godzilla vs. Megalon and the sole anime short First Line (directed by China). GEMNIBUS vol.2 features six short films, and will screen for one week only from March 6 to 12 at the TOHO Cinemas Hibiya theater in Tokyo. The program's sole anime short Moshi, Korekara Umarerunonara was written and directed by Asuka Dokai, whose independently produced short films have been screened at film festivals both domestically and internationally. She is also known for her directorial works for the music video for YOASOBI 's 2023 song "Umi no Manimani" and the anime promotional video "Kimi ni Aeta!" for the Pokémon World Championships 2023. Additionally, Marihiko Hara provided the soundtrack music for the film, with singer Miu Sakamoto performing the theme song "Lullaby," featured in the trailer, with the lyrics written by herself. They recently also collaborated on the theme song "Luminance" (composed by Hara, lyrics by Sakamoto) for the kabuki-themed live-action film Kokuho .
