What is the weirdest possible thing you could reincarnate into in another world? The protagonist of Megami "Isekai Tensei Nani ni Naritai Desu ka" Ore "Yuusha no Rokkotsu de" may well find out! An anime adaptation of the isekai adventure is scheduled to premiere this April, and the cast is already massive. The light novel series (whose title translates to Goddess: "What Do You Want to Turn Into When You're Reincarnated in Another World?" Me: "Into a Hero's Rib") follows a protagonist simply known as "I" who finds himself reincarnated into another world. The goddess of this world offers reincarnators a choice of form when they are reborn — but, understandably, popular choices like "Demon King" and "Hero with Cheat Skills and His Own Harem" have a wait list ranging up to 50,000 years. To counteract this, our protagonist chooses a series of lives as other bizarre things… like, say, the rib of the aforementioned cheat hero. The first official visual for the anime adaptation depicts a ribcage made up of names: the names of the many, many voice actors who will take part in the series.
