The official X (formerly Twitter) for the Doraemon anime film series announced today that Japanese comedy duo Alco And Peace, consisting of Yuki Hirako and Kenta Sakai, will make a guest voice appearance in the upcoming film Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the New Castle of the Undersea Devil . They will also serve as the film's promotional ambassadors alongside the previously announced Airi Taira . Alco And Peace was formed in April 2006. For their first voice acting roles in anime, the duo voice soldiers in the movie who defend the undersea nation of Mu Federation. "At my first voice recording session, I felt an invisible pressure — not just from my technical shortcomings, but from standing on the production set of Doraemon, a work that had always been part of my life," Hirako said. "That pressure made me truly realize just how challenging this was." Sakai added, "The studio's oppressive atmosphere made me realize this is the environment voice actors work in, which only heightened my nerves during the session. With Yumi Kakazu-san, who voices Shizuka-chan, guiding me step by step, I think I managed to produce a voice beyond what I thought I was capable of!" Additionally, the official website for Japanese rock band sumika announced that the CD single of the film's theme song, "Honto," is set to release in Japan on February 25, 2026. The single also includes three more songs: "Sekishunka feat. Lilas Ikuta," "Blue" (a new song inspired by Doraemon ), and "Ressentiment no Yurikago." "Honto" has already been featured as the ending theme for the Doraemon TV anime since Episode 811 aired in Japan on January 10.
