Dracula attacks a small-town mayor and his wife in our exclusive clip from Vampire Zombies… From Space!, a send-up to campy 1950s B-movies.
Drawing inspiration from Mel Brooks, Ed Wood, and South Park, the sci-fi horror comedy invades Blu-ray and DVD tomorrow, January 20, via Cleopatra Entertainment.
10 years after witnessing her mother’s gruesome death at the hands of Dracula, Mary’s sister and father mysteriously vanish in the small town of Marlow. As Mary investigates their disappearances, a full-blown zombie outbreak erupts.
Amidst the chaos, Mary finds an unlikely ally in Wayne, a chain-smoking greaser with a heart of gold. Together, they uncover Dracula’s master plan: to build an unstoppable army of vampire zombies, using the unsuspecting townspeople of Marlow as his soldiers.
They must band together with hard-nosed police Chief Clarke and rookie Detective Wallace to stop Dracula and his undead legion before they overrun Marlow… and possibly the world!
Canadian filmmaker Michael Stasko directs from a script he co-wrote with Jakob Skrzypa and Alex Forman.
Jessica Antovski, Rashaun Baldeo, Andrew Bee, Oliver Georgiou, Craig Gloster, and Simon Reynolds (Saw VI) star with Judith O’Dea (Night of the Living Dead), David Liebe Hart (“Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!”), and Lloyd Kaufman (The Toxic Avenger).
