Petals of Reincarnation Anime Reveals More Cast, Theme Songs, April 2026 Premiere in New Trailer and Visual

Today, the anime adaptation of Petals of Reincarnation introduces more of its Returners, shares a new trailer and key visual, and confirms a premiere window of April 2026 . With the new series just around the corner, we're running down all the latest news. First, check out the new trailer, showcasing more characters and theme songs for the series: Petals of Reincarnation Trailer 2 There's also a version with English subtitles: The trailer features a sample of the anime's opening theme song, "Glitch*" by eill. It has also been announced that the ending theme song will be titled "ZERO" and performed by Sizuk, a music project by composer Shunryu. Einstein I. Newton F. Nightingale Hiroshi Funasaka Jubei Mitsuyoshi Yagyu Mag Garden serializes the original Petals of Reincarnation manga by Mikihisa Konishi in their Mag Comi magazine. Mangomo also publishes an English language version of the series. Shun Kudo directs the TV anime adaptation at animation studio BENTEN Film, formerly known as Gaina. Atsuo Ishino provides the series composition, Haruno Kato provides the character designs and KOHTA YAMAMOTO provides the music. The anime will stream in the United States on HIDIVE, which describes the story thus: There exists an object known as the "Branch of Reincarnation" that can grant people the talents of the past lives, so long as they slit their own throat with it. Toya Senji is a teenage boy struggling with low self-esteem after growing up in the shadow of his gifted older brother. He comes to the decision that academic studies are his last resort in the search for talent, but fails to find satisfaction despite constantly placing in the top 100 for national mock exams. In a twist of fate, Toya encounters one of his classmates, Haito Luo Buffett, a "Returner" who has resurrected the talents of her past life using the Branch of Reincarnation, as she fights against a serial killer.
