The official website for the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea anime film announced today that Nao Kosaka and Kaho Fujishima — two members of Japanese idol group Hinatazaka46 — will voice two original characters appearing in the film. Kosaka will voice Mio, while Fujishima will voice Yori. Their characters are maids who struggle to protect Yura, the priestess of the undersea kingdom of Kaien, where the story takes place, from pursuers, and eventually become involved with Rimuru and the others. The two posted a video message on the anime's official X (formerly Twitter) . They expressed their joy at being able to participate in the anime movie, while also discussing the challenges of acting solely through voice.
