Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 1 Anime Film Announces Theme Song Performer TRUE

The beloved anime adaptation of Sound! Euphonium goes out on a high note this spring with the two-part Final Movie . The first part, which is set to debut on April 26, has confirmed that TRUE will be returning for a new theme song. Miho Karasawa has been performing anime theme songs under the stage name TRUE since 2014. Besides performing multiple theme songs for the Sound! Euphonium series and films, she has supplied memorable themes to shows ranging from BEASTARS to Violet Evergarden . The first half of the two-part film will feature her new song "ToCoda," which premiered today in concert. RELATED: Sound! Euphonium: May the Melody Reach You! ) takes over full directorial duties from The Final Movie with series director Tatsuya Ishihara stepping up as chief director for the films. Ogawa confirmed that there will be new animation and new scenes for the film version of the story at the stage event. The rest of the staff from the third season continue in their roles, with Jukki Hanada as series composer, Shoko Ikeda and Kazumi Ikeda as character designers with Kazumi also as chief animation director and music from Akito Matsuda in cooperation with Senzoku Gakuen College of Music and Progressive! Wind Orchestra. The anime continues to be produced at Kyoto Animation. Sound! Euphonium ’s TV anime seasons are streaming on Crunchyroll, including the third season, which is being compiled into these final films. Crunchyroll describes the full series as such: Spring in the first year of high school. Kumiko, a member of the brass band in junior high school, visits the high school brass band club with classmates Hazuki and Sapphire. There, she comes across Reina, her former classmate from junior high. Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko can’t make up her mind.
