On January 1, 2024, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake impacted the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture. According to the Cabinet Office , the human toll from the earthquake and subsequent tsunami stands at 698 dead and 1,407 injured, while damage to inhabited housing reached 165,563 structures, including those completely or partially destroyed. Even two years after the earthquake struck, recovery efforts continue. These two videos were produced in hopes of a swift recovery from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
