Following up on the Steam Next Fest demo that was released at the end of October, Level Infinite and developer KUKRGAME have released a new trailer for their upcoming atmospheric VR survival horror game, Dread Meridian. Debuting at the UploadVR Winter Showcase 2025, the new trailer offers a glimpse of the forsaken arctic island known as Oglanbyen.
Level Infinite also teased an upcoming multiplayer playtest scheduled before the end of 2025. Ahead of the game’s January 2026 launch, players can gear up with a slew of pre-order bonuses and 15% discount, available via Meta Quest.
Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft‘s “At the Mountains of Madness”, Dread Meridian casts you as Daniella, a researcher who ventures to a remote arctic island in a desperate search for her missing twin sister, Isabella. In this frozen wasteland, players will scavenge for resources, solve cryptic puzzles and come face to face with unimaginable creatures while unraveling the mystery of Isabella’s disappearance. It’ll be up to players to choose how to best utilize their limited resources and customizable weapons to battle the island’s hostile monsters with intense VR combat and tactical decisions. When ammo is low, players can pull out their trusty knife and fight to their last breath.
Dread Meridian will be available for PC via SteamVR, and Meta Quest 2, 3 and 3S.
