Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers , the latest anime in the Samurai Troopers franchise, premiered a brand new trailer tonight, revealing a super-sized amount of information. This includes both the opening and ending theme songs, eight more characters, a brand new visual and a January 6 debut date. It will have been 25 years since the last volumes of the original series' final OVA, Yoroiden Samurai Trooper: Message , released in Japan in 1991. Yoichi Fujita ( Gintama , Mr. Osomatsu ) is attached to direct Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers at Bandai Namco Filmworks’ brand Sunrise, with Kamen Rider Build head writer Shogo Muto in charge of series composition. Yuhei Murota ( Love Live! ) provides the character designs. Hideo Okamoto, armor designer for the original Samurai Troopers series, returns to continue his work on the new show's "Yoroigear."
