’90s-Inspired Slasher ‘Blood on the Bleachers’ Now Available on VOD

Heads of the class will roll in Blood on the Bleachers.

Drawing inspiration from ’90s slashers like Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, the indie horror film is now available to rent ($2.99) or buy ($9.99) on Prime Video.

A psychology instructor and his graduating seniors embark on a horrifying investigation into a series of unsolved murders at their high school spanning the past two years.

As faculty and students fall victim to a masked killer, suspicion and paranoia take hold. With motives blurred and survival uncertain, the class races against time to unmask the murderer before the next strike.

Chase Dudley directs from a script he wrote in collaboration with John Casual, Bob Gunner, and Adriane Miller.

Lisa Wilcox (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 and 5) appears alongside Arianna Harris, Chloe Lutz, Leonard Peterson III, Houston Buckley, Ka’ssee Rhe’anne, Holly Anspaugh, Andrew Pierson, Shawn Alexander Thompson, Kristina Lafser, and Leonora Scelfo (Scream).

“I have always had a passion for ’90s slashers. The series Goosebumps and I Know What You Did Last Summer had a big influence on me as a filmmaker,” Dudley tells Bloody Disgusting. “Working with Lisa Wilcox was a dream come true! She was always one of my favorite final girls and the smartest one in the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.”
