For the last couple of Kyoto Animation events, the studio has held music festivals in its hometown, letting fans experience the symphony of sounds from its works. For the 7th Kyoto Animation Thanks Event later this year, KyoAni is going back to its roots and not only holding the musical event but also a two-day celebration of where the studio is currently at. For the unveiling today, Kyoto Animation released a trailer and a visual for the event. 7th Kyoto Animation Thanks Event Trailer The 7th Kyoto Animation Thanks Event This Is What We Are Now!! – Meet the Worlds of KyoAni – event is split into two sections. One is the exhibition area featuring over 1,000 production materials from seven different KyoAni works, including Violet Evergarden , CITY THE ANIMATION , Sound! Euphonium , Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions and more. The other section is a stage hall, featuring talks from KyoAni staff throughout the day, capped off with a concert by Heartbeat Symphony featuring music from those same series.
