100 METERS Anime Film Reveals New Trailer, Visual, Theme Song Performer

The upcoming anime film based on Uoto's sports manga 100 METERS (also known as “Hyakuemu” in Japan) released a new trailer, the official movie visual and new information about the official theme song for the film today. Official Hige Dandism will perform the theme song for the film titled “Rashisa," which is featured in the new trailer. The film will release in Japan on September 19, 2025. GKIDS will distribute the film in North American theaters in October 2025. 100 METERS Main Trailer 100 METERS movie poster RELATED: 100 METERS Anime Film Adds Koki Uchiyama, Kenjiro Tsuda to Cast Kodansha serialized the original 100 METERS manga by Uoto from November 2019 to August 2019 in Magazine Pocket shonen manga magazine, and released in five volumes in Japan. Kenji Iwaisawa directs the film at animation studio Rock 'n' Roll Museum. Keisuke Kojima provides the character designs and serves as chief animation director, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi provides the music. GKIDS describes 100 METERS : 100 METERS follows Togashi, a track star who is born to run. As a kid, he is naturally gifted and wins every 100-meter race without effort. But in sixth grade, he meets Komiya, a transfer student who is full of determination but lacks technique. In teaching him, Togashi gives Komiya a new purpose: to win no matter what.
